Fair Winds and Following Seas ~ Scottish Poetry Library
The Fair Winds and Following Seas exhibition at the Scottish Poetry Library has now ended. Stichill Marigold Press would like to express thanks to its creator Barbara A. Morton, the exhibitors and the Scottish Poetry Library staff for their generosity and talents. Some Stichill Marigold Press pamphlets and cards are available at the SPL Bookshop.
The current SPL exhibition, Theory of Colour, features Entropie Books, the press of Barbara A. Morton, so links directly with Fair Winds and Following Seas. Entropie Books are beautiful, thoughtful and well worth holding and contemplating. There is great reward in entering into these unique works of art.

EARTHWORKS music by David Wilson
The collection ‘Earthworks’ inspired the Edinburgh-born composer David Wilson to write a string quartet reflecting the moods and images of the sequence. A single movement, sectional piece lasting around ten minutes, it can be performed with a narrator to include the poems. This was performed in the Edinburgh Society of Musicians in January 2018 with the writer present.
